The movie 2 Days in Paris is a romantic comedy. Marion, who is a photographer, lives in New York with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend Jack is a chain smoker with multiple tattoos who works as an interior designer. They take a vacation to see if they can rekindle the flames in their relationship that turns out to be a disaster. Jack learns that Marian has kept in contact with old flames and this concerns him in many ways. Jack is placed at a disadvantage because her old flames speak a different language that he does not understand but Marian does. He becomes uncomfortable with the situation and decides he needs to take a step back and try to figure out what is happening in his relationship. Marian manages to run into multiple old flames and gives Jack the impression there may be more to these meetings that coincidence.
