In the 2008 movie 100 Million BC, a group of scientists are sent back in time to the prehistoric era, 100 million years ago, in order to retrieve a diamond that could potentially save the world from a radiation cloud that is threatening to wipe out humanity. The team consists of Dr. Frank Reno (played by Michael Gross), a brilliant scientist and inventor; Dr. Ira Krinsky (played by Greg Evigan), a paleontologist; and Dr. Samantha Hill (played by Marie Westbrook), a geologist. The team is led by Lieutenant Commander Ellis (played by Christopher Atkins), a military man who is tasked with keeping the team safe and on track.

At first, the team is thrilled to be traveling back in time to see the dinosaurs up close and personal. However, they quickly discover that they are in over their heads. The prehistoric world is dangerous and the dinosaurs are larger and more ferocious than they ever imagined. The team must navigate treacherous terrain, fend off vicious predators and find the diamond before it's too late.

As the team begins their mission, they discover that not everyone is who they seem to be. Dr. Krinsky has been working with a group of rogue scientists who want to use the diamond for their own nefarious purposes. They will stop at nothing to get their hands on it, even if it means putting the entire team in danger.

As the team continues their journey, they encounter a variety of prehistoric creatures, including a giant crocodile, a vicious Velociraptor and a massive T-Rex. The special effects in the movie are impressive and the dinosaurs are both realistic and terrifying.

While the team is focused on finding the diamond, they also must deal with their own internal conflicts. Dr. Reno is struggling with the guilt of not being there for his daughter, who died from cancer. Dr. Hill is still mourning the loss of her husband, who was killed in a climbing accident. These personal struggles add depth to the characters and make them more relatable.

Overall, 100 Million BC is a thrilling adventure movie that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The action is non-stop and the special effects are impressive. The cast is talented and brings depth to their characters. While the movie may not be a cinematic masterpiece, it's definitely an entertaining way to spend a couple of hours.

100 Million BC is a 2007 science fiction movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 25 minutes. It has received poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 2.3.
