10.0 Earthquake is a gripping disaster movie that will leave audiences on the edge of their seats. Directed by David Gidali, the film stars Henry Ian Cusick as Jack, a seismologist who tries to stop a catastrophic earthquake from hitting Los Angeles. The movie begins with Jack, who works for the Los Angeles Seismology Center, trying to convince his superiors that an earthquake of unprecedented magnitude is about to strike the city. Jack has spent years studying earthquake patterns and has found evidence of a massive fault line beneath the city that could trigger a 10.0 earthquake.

Despite Jack's warnings, his superiors refuse to take his concerns seriously. They believe that the measures already in place are sufficient to protect the city from earthquakes. Soon enough, their complacency is put to the test.

A massive earthquake hits Los Angeles, its strength exceeding even Jack's worst fears. The quake causes untold destruction, with buildings collapsing, power grids failing, and fires breaking out across the city.

Jack, along with his estranged wife Natalie (played by Cameron Richardson), and their two children find themselves trapped in a high-rise apartment building. The building is one of the few still standing after the earthquake, but it's on the verge of collapse.

As the family tries to find a way out, they come across a group of survivors who are also trying to escape. They include a pregnant woman, her husband, and a street-smart teenager. Together, they work to find a way out of the building while the city falls apart around them.

Meanwhile, a wealthy businessman named Roy (played by Jeffrey Jones) sees the disaster as an opportunity to make a profit. He creates a plan to buy up cheap land in California and rebuild the state with his own money.

Roy's plan involves manipulating the earthquake to cause further destruction, which will drive down the price of land. He hires a team of scientists to create a device that will set off another earthquake in the city.

Jack and his family eventually make it out of the building, but they soon realize that the worst is yet to come. Roy's team is preparing to trigger another earthquake, one that could send California into the ocean.

Jack and his team race to stop Roy and his associates from carrying out their plan. They face countless obstacles along the way, including collapsing buildings, fierce fires, and aftershocks that threaten to bring more devastation.

As the clock ticks down, the characters are pushed to their limits, and they must use every skill they have to save California from a catastrophic end.

Overall, 10.0 Earthquake is a thrilling disaster movie that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. With powerful performances, stunning visual effects, and a gripping storyline, it's a film that will leave viewers breathless.

10.0 Earthquake is a 2014 drama with a runtime of 1 hour and 28 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.5.
