Ovation is America's only independent cable network that introduces viewers to all forms of art and artistic expression. The Ovation channel gained popularity with the dark comedy "A Young Doctor's Notebook". This television series portrays a Russian doctor working at a small hospital while struggling to overcome his addiction to morphine. Another exclusive premier is "The Artful Detective", which is a mystery series about a detective who uses unorthodox methods in cracking the toughest cases. As well as exclusive programs, Ovation offers original series such as "The Fashion Fund", "Capture", "Young Marvels", and "Trending Trailers". Weekday mornings on Ovation offer daily artistic inspirations through "Morning Canvas". The popular series "Antiques Roadshow" can also be viewed on the Ovation Channel. Antiques Roadshow visits various cities where locals can bring in their valuables to be appraised.
