OUTtv is Canada's first and only 24-hour LBGT television channel. OUTtv provides a mix of lifestyle shows and entertainment programming that includes feature films, reality shows, talk shows, documentaries, and dramatic and comedic television series. Each program aired on the channel is meant to serve the LBGT community.
Well over 100 shows have aired on the network. Perhaps the most popular show is RuPaul's Drag Race, a reality competition series that is on almost everyday. Hosted by RuPaul, each week contestants compete in challenges in hopes of being the next 'drag superstar'. OUTtv also airs shows produced by them as well as reruns of popular LBGT shows from other networks, such as The L Word, Queer as Folk, and Beverly Hills Fabulous.
OUTlook TV is one of the network's lifestyle shows that celebrates the diversity of the LBGT community. The latest news, events, and celebrity interviews are covered by reporters from across Canada. They are dedicated in uncovering new creative talent and in bringing engaging content to their viewers. OUTtv also provides several talk shows, such as Alan Carr: Chatty Man, an award winning British talk show, and Homorazzi. There is a wide variety of reality shows on everything from style and design to travel and food.
OUTtv is more than just tv and reality shows though. Feature, Indie, and Made for tv films are regularly aired on the channel as well. OUTtv is the number one source in Canada for all LBGT shows, movies, and more.
