The NFL Network broadcasts National Football League games on Thursday nights, with every team appearing once on a telecast during the current 16 game campaign. In February 2014, the NFL Network entered into a partnership with CBS Sports to broadcast Thursday night games from weeks 2 through 8, with the NFL Network broadcasting the remainder of the Thursday night games and simulcast them on broadcast stations in the primary markets of the teams playing that week.Veteran broadcasters Jim Nance calls all the action with former New York Giants QB Phil Simms providing color commentary and insight.
In addition to being broadcast on satellite provider DirecTV and cable system distributors nationwide, televised games on the NFL Network are available in the United Kingdom on Sky Sports, in Canada on Sportsnet and on radio by Westwood One syndicated radio network. Prior to the regular NFL season schedule, the NFL Network telecasts 65 pre-season NFL games, with live or on a tape-delayed basis utilizing the local market team broadcast feeds.
