The NBC (National Broadcast Network) is an American radio and television network. Founded in 1926 by the Radio Broadcast Company (RCA), in 1939, it is the oldest broadcasting company in the United States. Headquartered in New York City, it has major offices in both Los Angeles and Chicago with local affiliates across the country and around the world.
NBC is known for its television programming. They offer a variety of different shows and specials. Dramas, such as Grimm and The Blacklist are highlights in NBC’s lineup. Along with those dramas are the comedies, such as Undateable, Parks and Recreation, and the iconic Saturday Night Live that complement the dramas that air on the station.
News and talk shows are also a part of the lineup. The Nightly News and Dateline are both very informative. TODAY, a morning talk show is both informational and entertaining. The late night talk shows are also entertaining and often feature top celebrities.
NBC has also ventured into the reality TV market. The Voice is critically acclaimed and does well in the television ratings. American Ninja Warrior is imaginative and captivating.
