Military History Channel has shows that review the history of warfare and the military regimes of the past. The format has footage in the documentary genre as it recounts wars such as Vietnam and World War II. In episodes entitled ‘Shootout: Tet Offensive’ or ‘Dogfights: 09 - Hell Over Hanoi’ the cold reality of Vietnam is presented. The dramatic history of World War II is laid bare with series episodes including ‘Battle 360: Vengeance at Midway’ and ‘Battle 360: Jaws of the Enemy’. In addition there are episodes of military engagement with episodes entitled ‘Weird Warfare’ or ‘Ancient Discoveries: Ancient Special Forces’.
Shootout: Tet Offensive will lead the viewer into the Vietnam War with graphic footage and survivors providing interviews of January 31, 1968. It was said to have been the fiercest battle of the conflict.
Dogfights: 09 - Hell Over Hanoi will depict the battle of the Vietnam War’s air campaign with pilots using their F4 aircrafts to shot down enemy aircraft. The story of Steve Ritchie, an Ace pilot in the U.S. Air Force is also shared.
Battle 360: Vengeance at Midway and Jaws of the Enemy are episodes of the critically acclaimed series. In the episode ‘Vengeance at Midway’, the story of the USS Enterprise, the most distinguished war vessel in World War II is presented. ‘Jaws of the Enemy’ continues to capture the saga of the USS Enterprise in one of its most brutal battles.
Weird Warfare and Ancient Discoveries: Ancient Special Forces reveal the antics of war including fire beacons as signaling tools to missiles guided by pigeons.
