Marty Stouffer has become one of the best known and best loved naturalists in the US and has seen the many movies, series and specials he has produced broadcast across the World to critical and public acclaim. Formed in 1970, Marty Stouffer Productions has always been focused on producing wildlife based shows that are designed to entertain and inform, Stouffer himself formed the company after embarking on a series of trips armed only with a camera to record his adventures. The first successes Marty Stouffer Productions enjoyed were in conjunction with the singer John Denver; a series of specials were produced featuring the singer exploring different areas of the US and broadcast first on the US network ABC.
Marty Stouffer himself then stepped in front of the camera to embark on a series known as wild America that took viewers across the continent of North America to show its natural beauty. The Wild America series has become a huge success in the US, where it was shown by PBS and across many networks throughout the World. Marty Stouffer Productions has also made a number of wildlife specials and even embarked on a brief journey into movie production with a version of the life of the Stouffer brothers filmed by the company in 1997.
