The Great American Country Network was named as one of television's best breakout networks. The network has a lot of respect for the country music that is produced by artists in Nashville, but also understands that in order to target an audience of all kind, they must expand their horizons and widen what type of programming the network offers. ABC Radio Networks and Great American Country collaborated to form a partnership. They worked together in order to produce a radio show that aired each night called GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. This channel was dropped by AT&T U-Verse, along with a few other channels, as a result of a carriage dispute. However, the dispute was resolved after a couple of days.
