EMI is a media channel offering television, movies, music, podcasts, and more. Founded in 2003, EMI has grown to form partnerships with larger companies such as Sony, Disney, and Fox TV. The media is split into different categories.
For sports, viewers have the option of watching live events and commentary, watching the games later online, or downloading the content to their own devices. The live streaming is free for some events, though others require a fee to tune in while the event is happening. Downloading some of the content also comes with a fee, though users can access the media from their tablets, smartphones, laptops, or other devices.
A variety of television programs, such as "Fix this Home," are available for streaming on the website. Comedy, drama, documentaries, news, and more are offered on the channel. There are also a variety of movies in differing genres such as action, drama, romance, foreign, documentary, comedy, and others.
Music from famous artists like Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, and Britney Spears are available in the music section, most of which are free. Special members who sign up for bonus content (and pay a fee) can access early releases of albums and in-depth videos of live concerts.
EMI also offers a selection of podcasts that are only available in audio form. Some of the podcasts are listed on iTunes but many are exclusive to the EMI brand and require a "Listen Anywhere" membership.
