Formally known as Playhouse Disney, Disney Junior is a digital cable channel designated towards pre-school children's education and also explore the multiple worlds of imagination and wonder. Appearing on television early weekday mornings on the Disney Channel, children can tune in to view many popular shows such as Sophia the First, Imagination Movers, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and more.
Along with programs, the channel displays parent to child engagement and gives many ways in which the parent and child can work on crafts, bring their children's favorite shows from the screen to the home with instructional DIY costumes and also creating recipes based on elements from the various Disney programs.
