Content Family is a new branch of the Keller Media channel. Content Family focuses on being a media channel that provides content in digital format that caters to families and is friendly for viewers of all ages. The decision to establish Content Family came when Herb Shinger, the CEO of Keller Media, noticed that there was a lack of material for families to watch together around the dinner table.
Originally, the channel provided only syndicated content from other companies, such as "The Middle," "Suburgatory," "Friends," and others. After receiving great reviews with an experimental new show called "Andy's Soccer League" that combined top animation artists with voice overs and themes of encouragement, education, and family responsibility, the platform decided to continue writing and creating its shows.
Now, Content Family, creates numerous shows, both real and animated, that provide universal themes and can be accessed on a number of devices including smartphones, laptops, desktop computers, smart televisions, Roku, and Apple TV.
Shows include: "This Modern World," "Mommy Says This," and "Bryan's Big Red Ball."
The company has announced new partnerships with international media companies such as BBC, ABC, and Dubai Syndicate International, catering to a high number of expat workers in the United Arab Emirates who lack options for there children when it comes to quality information and education.
The channel's most recent release is an episodic series entitled "Shirley Goes to Paris" and is slated to last at least 16 episodes before season 2 is decided on by studio heads.
