Advisions is a advertising and marketing agency based in New York City in the United States of America. It produces a variety of visual and audible media including video, image, and music advertising content for a variety of companies in the entertainment industry. Clients include large Fortune 500 companies such as Walt Disney, Viacom, and ABC Network.
The company began as a small billboard company in Buffal, New York. The founder, Jason Whitely, saw an opportunity to combine world class design with the advertising industry in 2002, as many advertisements were not of a high quality in terms of visual aesthetic or copywriting. After a loan allowed him to fund the hiring of top graphic designers and marketing manaers, Advisions began producing high quality video material as "spec" material to bid on large projects for the most successful entertainment companies the world.
After landing a contract with Nickelodeon for $5 million, the company funded new ventures such as their music department, which focuses on providing scores for movie trailers, television ads, and online commercials such as those found on Youtube.
The company now offers its previously produced advertisements to the public for free as a means of promotion, and is regularly mentioned and even featured in prestigious publications such as AdWeek and Ad Age.
