'The X Factor' Final 16: Watch the Groups' Performances (VIDEO)

'The X Factor' Final 16: Watch the Groups' Performances (VIDEO) After the high-pressure auditions, the grueling Boot Camp, and the stressful performances at the judges' homes, the final 16 (17, really) for "The X Factor" have been decided.

Four of those finalists came from the Groups category, mentored by former "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul. The category was a rough one from the beginning, and scarce on talent, as two of the groups that made it past Boot Camp were actually made up of soloists that didn't make it in their own categories.

After their performances and much deliberation, the final four that will go on to the live round were decided. There's The Brewer Boys, a duo of two brothers; The Stereo Hogzz, a fivesome that impressed with their rendition of "I Heard It Through the Grape Vine"; InTENsity, a group made up of ten of the young soloists that didn't make it through Boot Camp; and Lakoda Rayne, a girl group quartet of soloists in their late teens who were assembled into a group.

The favorite here is most likely the Stereo Hogzz, as they have an advantage over the two assembled groups in having worked with each other longer. However, the Hogzz have an impressive frontman but middling backup vocals, so Lakoda Rayne and its four strong vocalists shouldn't be counted out. They'll just have to learn to work as a group and sell the fun of it.
