'Vampire Diaries' Casting News: Bonnie's New Witch Friend?

'Vampire Diaries' Casting News: Bonnie's New Witch Friend? Last Thursday's episode of "The Vampire Diaries" left Bonnie as the only witch in Mystic Falls after Dr. Martin and Luka went bye-bye. With the unstoppable Klaus coming to town, the role having been filled by British actor Joseph Morgan, Bonnie could really use some help to take Klaus down and defend Elena.

That can mean only one thing: casting call!

A new character breakdown is out for the role of Greta, Luka's sister, who it looks like will show up as this season comes to an end, hopefully to give Bonnie a hand. The character description calls for a young woman in her 20's, who is "African-American, cool, hip, smart. A bit of a thrill-seeker".

The question is, who will be cast in the role? Will the CW go with an unknown, or will they reach for an actress that might be familiar to the "Vampire Diaries" audience? Amber Stevens' name has been tossed around, but that's all speculation. Since she's related to Jonas and Luka, she'll probably have to bear at least some resemblance.

We should know who will be playing Greta fairly soon, although it is a bit of a wait for the 19th episode of this season, which apparently won't air until April 21st. Of course, we should also all be prepared for some surprises, as Greta has long been assumed to be a captive of Klaus. Has she turned?

Who do you think should play Greta? Should Bonnie have help, or would it be more dramatic for her to handle Klaus herself? Will Greta even be on her side? Let us know in the comments!
