Will Ferrell To Star in Multi-Episode Spot on 'The Office'

Will Ferrell To Star in Multi-Episode Spot on 'The Office' Dunder Mifflin's newest branch manager is coming to Scranton and it's going to be a reunion of sorts. Will Ferrell is confirmed to appear in a four-episode stint, playing a head honcho at the paper company.

Ferrell and Steve Carell starred opposite one another in the hit film "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," and if this guest appearance is anywhere near as funny, we are in for a treat.

The announcement comes at an interesting time for the show, with Steve Carell leaving the series, possibly before season's end.

Casting call! Could Will Ferrell be next in line? Doubtful, but there may be some correlation.

One thing is for certain, any scenes with Ferrell will be far from politically correct and we can't wait!

The Office airs Thursday nights at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
