Lady Gaga's 'You and I' Video: Watch it Here

Lady Gaga It's odd, really, the new Lady Gaga video. Not odd that it's odd, of course, but odd that such an odd video is paired with a song that really is just a few steps away from a country song. I mean really, if you close your eyes and listen hard, "You and I" could very well be sung by Shania Twain at some sort of country music awards ceremony, and no one would be the wiser.

It's sort of hard to believe that the song is from the same woman who asked us so long ago if we wanted to take a ride on a disco stick.

So yeah, the video for "You and I" is out and it's predictably weird. We showed you some of the strange stills from the video yesterday, and there's plenty of fetishy cyborg bondage, leather, gender-bending - hell, Gaga even threw a mermaid into the mix for some rather inexplicable reason.

This video also features the unveiling of Gaga's male alter-ego Jo Calderone, who is apparently a Sicilian auto mechanic that she likes to make out with from time to time. So there's that.

One other thing, if you're from Nebraska (go Cornhuskers!) this is by far the best video to come out in years.
