Anti-Kardashian Petition Seeks Cancellation, Amasses More Than 25,000 Signatures

Anti-Kardashian Petition Seeks Cancellation, Amasses More Than 25,000 Signatures Had enough of Kim Kardashian? You're not alone: after her publicity stunt of a wedding and subsequent publicity stunt of a divorce, those who had just ignored the Kardashians are starting to get a little more aggressive.

Case in point: this online petition aiming to take all things Kardashian off the air. The petition, started by my new hero Cynthia Snyder, is aimed at the E! network with the goal of convincing the channel to remove "Keeping Up with The Kardashians" from its lineup.

"We are respectfully requesting that your network find other shows to Air," the petition, called "No More Kardashian," reads. "Keeping up with the Kardashians is just not viewing that we the public, would like to see from your network. Enough is enough."

The petition was posted on November 2nd, and in less than two weeks has already gained more than 25,000 signatures and nearly 11,000 likes on Facebook. That's a small chunk of the show's 3 to 4 million viewers each week, but still a pretty impressive show of support for an online petition.

Could an uprising of rebels crush the Kardashian Empire? Doubtful, but it's a start. Perhaps this, combined with the trouble that Kim got Tyler Perry into, will result in less face time for Kim K and the rest of the family. Or at least a few less sponsorships and paid Tweets.
