Mayor of Florence to 'Jersey Shore' Cast: You're Cut Off

Mayor of Florence to 'Jersey Shore' Cast: You're Cut Off Attention Guidos and Guidettes, the mayor of Florence is laying down some ground rules.

The strict instructions come after residents of the historic city expressed outrage at the "Shore" infiltration.

The New York Post is reporting that Italian mayor Matteo Renzi has released a list of rules for the "Jersey Shore" cast to follow and it doesn't include fun and games.

The guidelines go as follows:

  • The cast will not be filmed in bars and clubs that serve alcohol. (Where's the fun in that?)
  • The cast will not be filmed drinking in public. (Borderline impossible, Snooki will end up in the slammer.)
  • The show will not be filmed to promote Florence as a drinking town. (I've been there, it is a drinking town.)
  • The show should be filmed in a manner to promote Italy (not Americans visiting Italy) and feature its culture and good food. (Fair)

Here's the problem; almost everything that is entertaining about the "Shore" is accompanied by booze, and lots of it. The fights, falls, hook ups and breakdowns have come to us courtesy of the bottle so MTV will have to dig deep to make season 4 as stimulating as the rest.

We are taking bets now. Do you think the entire cast will make it through the filming without being arrested or deported? Let us know on Facebook now.
