Hellcats is a drama series that premiered on The CW in 2010 and ran for two seasons until 2011. The show revolves around the life of a young college student named Marti Perkins, who is played by Aly Michalka, and her journey into the world of competitive cheerleading.

Marti is a pre-law student at Lancer University, who is forced to join the Hellcats cheerleading team in order to secure a scholarship to pay for her education. The Hellcats team is led by Savannah Monroe, played by Ashley Tisdale, who is the captain of the cheerleading squad. However, things take an unexpected turn after Savannah's old boyfriend Noah shows up and outbids Dan, Morgan wins a date with a horrified Marti and Vanessa is bid on by a mystery man whom she suspects is Red trying to win her back. Vanessa can't decide if she should tell Derrick about the date as the money will cover the trip to Nationals for the Hellcats. Meanwhile, Lewis continues to harbor a secret from the team.
