Weekend Movie Trailers and Reviews: 'Glee 3D,' '30 Minutes or Less' and 'Final Destination 5'

This weekend is already shaping up to be an interesting one, as the Emma Stone dramedy "The Help" grossed a surprising $5 million mid-week, making more than "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" did that day (probably, anyway...the actuals might read differently).

But we won't talk about "The Help" here (it should be good, by the way), since there are three big movies hitting theaters this weekend that we'll give you the low-down on.

"Glee: The 3D Concert Movie"

Gleeks rejoice and haters start groaning, the "Glee" concert movie is here! The film takes fans through the experience of the live "Glee" show that toured this summer, including backstage interviews and other fun stuff. While the 3D seems like more of an afterthought, it's sort of reassuring that they didn't get too gimmicky in making sure stuff flew at the screen. Ultimately, the choice is pretty simple: if you're a fan of "Glee," go see it. If you're not, you probably won't be interested.

Rotten Tomatoes has "Glee: The 3D Concert Movie" at 64% among critics. The musical numbers are entertaining enough, and while the 3D doesn't wow, Gleeks will be happy.

See it if: You're a huge fan of Katy Perry covers.

"30 Minutes or Less"

Jesse Eisenberg has gone from thoughtful dramedy ("Adventureland") to zombie comedy ("Zombieland") to Oscar-winning docu-drama ("The Social Network"). He's back to broad comedy this weekend with "30 Minutes or Less," in which he plays a pizza delivery guy who gets a bomb strapped to his chest by a couple of thugs and is forced to rob a bank for them. The movie also stars Aziz Ansari, Danny McBride and Nick Swardson, making for a very comedically talented cast.

Rotten Tomatoes has "30 Minutes or Less" at only 42% among critics. Sadly, it seems that the dream team of comedic actors can't make up for a lackluster script in this one.

See it if: You think these guys are hilarious no matter what they do.

"Final Destination 5"

Yet another installment in this horror series proves that if you can find creative ways to kill off your characters, people will watch. The plot here is the same as it ever was: a group of teenagers avoid what should have been a fatal accident, only to have Death itself pursue them and pick them off one by one in the most horrific way imaginable.

You would think that this series would have run out of steam a long time ago, but surprisingly while the last installment or two were a bit stale, this one is surprisingly fresh. It's still only for fans of "Final Destination" or the horror genre in general, but those fans will be happy with every gory minute.

Rotten Tomatoes has "Final Destination 5" at 56% among critics. It's nothing new, but it's scary and outrageous enough to keep thrill-seeking moviegoers entertained.

See it if: You've ever wondered how accupuncture or laser eye surgery could kill you.
