Watch Adam Levine Burn Randy Jackson For Knocking 'The Voice'

Watch Adam Levine Burn Randy Jackson For Knocking 'The Voice' Putting aside even that what he speaks barely counts as the King's English anyway, maybe FOX should consider just muzzling Randy Jackson under "American Idol" can go two weeks without its ratings falling.

Karma has already launched Jackson's backhanded swipes dismissing fellow FOX show "The X Factor" as an "imitator" right back between his eyes as "Idol" ratings keep falling week after week. Now, "The Voice" mentor and Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine says Jackson is certainly one to knock his show for giving struggling singers' dreams a second chance.

"The winner of 'The Voice,' I will remind you, was an artist who had a deal at Capitol Records for several years, a failed contract," Jackson said last month after dismissing the NBC hit as a show for "second chance people."

Oh, Mr. Jackson. You witty student of history, you. By the way, do you return calls from Carly Smithson? That would be the Season Seven contestant that MCA had previously spent around $2 million promoting as Carly Hennessy before her "Idol" attempt. You'd know that, though, wouldn't you? You were after all a senior A&R vice president during the tenure when she would've been with the label.

Levine hasn't taken Jackson's lightly, especially headed into "The Voice" making its second-season premiere Feb. 5 following Super Bowl XVL. Levine will once more judge and mentor contestants picked based on blind auditions alongside fellow mentor-judges Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green.

"Because he of anybody should know that if you're in this business, you need second, third, fourth and fifth chances," Levine said recently on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
