Watch Adam Lambert's Epic, Dystopian Music Video 'Never Close Our Eyes'
by Andy NeuenschwanderFormer "American Idol" contestant Adam Lambert has never been one for subtlety. During his run on the reality program, he made waves with his personal style and his energetic performances, and while he ultimately ended up a runner-up, he has nonetheless been one of the show's more successful professional artists.
Lambert continues his success with his latest album "Trespassing," which landed him the honor of being the first openly gay artist to top the Billboard chart. His first single, "Outlaws of Love," performed nicely, and now Lambert has a second offering and a brand-new music video.
The video is for his second single off the album, "Never Close Our Eyes." The approach for the video aims to paint a dystopian future as Lambert walks in line with other prisoners of a Big Brother-like establishment, taking pills, receiving high-tech scans and doing hard labor. Of course, Lambert eventually breaks out from the mold, and a crazy neon dance party ensues.
Lambert's hair is quite nicely coiffed and highlighted considering that he's the prisoner of a totalitarian government, isn't it?
