'Walking Dead' Season 6 Trailer: Has Rick Lost Himself?
by Andy Neuenschwander
Has Rick Grimes gone from Walter White to Heisenberg?
This first trailer for "The Walking Dead" season six comes to us from Comic-Con, and shows us a bit of what happens right after that cliffhanger ending to season five. So, spoilers for season five are ahead!
When we last saw Rick, he was putting a bullet in his rival's head just as Morgan (remember Morgan?) showed up. From the trailer, it seems like Morgan's horrified reaction to Rick's decision will go on to feed Morgan's horrified reaction to Rick's state of being in general.
"I don't take chances anymore," Rick tells him, which as far as we can tell is code for, "This is a Ricktatorship and what I say goes."
It does seem like Morgan agress with Rick on some level, at least when it comes to how the people of Alexandria are sheltered from what the world has become. "The world isn't what it once was," he says. "You don't know where you are anymore." But as the moral antithesis to Rick, he adds, "But you still know your own way."
