Yidio Video of the Day: One-Man Violin Orchestra Plays 'Game of Thrones' Theme Song (Plus, Two More Covers!) "Game of Thrones" won't be back until next year. What are fans of the show to do? Put together viral music videos, of course!

Violinist Jason Yang put together a 13-part violin orchestra for an all-violin cover of the "Game of Thrones" theme song. Here's the catch: he plays all 13 parts. The result is a pretty great cover of one of the more epic theme songs out there, played on acoustic and electric violin only.

This isn't the only cover of the "Game of Thrones" theme song, either: there's a pretty great metal version of the song (what is it with metal and fantasy?) and also a pretty cool 8-bit version if you're into that whole chiptune thing.

What is it about the "Game of Thrones" theme that makes it so tantalizing to cover? Perhaps its the totally awesome visuals that go along with it (gotta love those little mechanical model versions of King's Landing and Winterfell), or maybe it's the epic nature of the song. Or, maybe it's just because it's a great show.
