'Vampire Diaries' Spin-Off 'The Secret Circle': New Cast Members!

Can't get enough "Vampire Diaries"? Dying for some more witchy television? Never fear, Di-Hards, for the CW will soon bring you a spin-off pilot, "The Secret Circle."

With some recent casting announcements, the show is really starting to come together.

Australian actress Phoebe Tonkin is the latest to join the cast, and will reportedly be playing a witch in the New Salem witches' circle. Tonkin joins former "Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles" star Thomas Dekker and "Life UneXpected" star Britt Robertson in the pilot.

So what's the story? Robertson will reportedly play a shy young witch who discovers her powers and joins a circle of witches in New Salem. There will be plenty of drama with Tonkin playing a villain in the circle and more love triangles than you could shake a broom at.

There's no word on how vampires will factor in to the story, but seeing as it's a spin-off, there should be at least a few of them in there. Or maybe not...maybe the whole witch/vampire thing will be left to the "Diaries" and "The Secret Circle" will be witch-centric.

We'll keep an eye out for any clues in the casting.
