Sobbing Emily Maynard Relives The End Of Romance With 'Bachelor' Brad Womack

Sobbing Emily Maynard Relives The End Of Romance With 'Bachelor' Brad Womack It ought to be abundantly apparent by now that this season's "Bachelorette" Ashley Hebert probably bit off considerably more than she could chew the moment she signed up.

Quite honestly, it's been painful already watching a former "Bachelor" contestant whose insecurities torpedoed a storybook romance opportunity with Brad Womack thrust those same insecurities upon a pack of mostly decent men who are eager to love, and will apparently endure damn near anything to be loved in return.

Heaven help us, this woman will be turned loose next on unsuspecting, innocent families.

Since this season's made it pretty clear that Ashley's not a big one on learning from her mistakes, let's hope I wasn't the only one sitting down Monday night with a legal pad and can of Xyience when "The Bachelor" Season 15 winner Emily Maynard sat down with host Chris Harrison for a candid interview about how the public eye ultimately mortally wounded her relationship with Womack.

"I'll always be in love with Brad. No one will ever hear me say a bad word about him," Maynard told Harrison. "Not a day goes by that I don't regret how things have turned out and that things were different."

Though a tearful Maynard called the day Womack proposed "one of the happiest days she can remember," she recalled being unprepared for the toll that the public eye would take on her five-year-old daughter, getting used to being in a relationship again after being single for so long and how constant hounding by paparazzi allegations of lies, hidden agendas and cheating led only to strained trust among Maynard, Womack and the pair's friends.

"I didn't doubt that we loved each other. I just doubted that he was still going to want to be with me," she said.
