Sarah Michelle Gellar Returning to 'All My Children' After 15 Years

Sarah Michelle Gellar Returning to 'All My Children' After 15 Years Back in 1993, a 16-year-old girl stepped onto the set of one of the biggest soap operas in town, "All My Children." For two years, she played the role of teenager Kendall, before departing the soap in 1995.

Little did anyone know, her next move would be to appear in the cult-hit TV show "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and launch a career in feature films just a few years later.

Yep, that girl was Sarah Michelle Gellar, who is set to appear next in the CW series "Ringer." Though SMG is most famous for Buffy and role in movies like "Cruel Intentions" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer," she got her second series regular role thanks to "All My Children," which is now set to be cancelled.

When Gellar heard about the cancellation, she asked if there was any way she could help out, and thus she'll be appearing in an upcoming episode despite her busy schedule due to "Ringer."

Interestingly, Gellar will not be playing her previous role of Kendall, which has since been filled by another actress. Who will Gellar play, and how will she factor in to one episode in a show as serialized as "All My Children?" I guess we'll have to find out when it airs.
