Ryan Gosling Coloring Book: Time To Buy Stock in Crayola, Folks
by Shannon Keirnan
Ladies! It’s time to set down your knitting and push the cats off your lap, because our prayers have been answered.
I Love Mel has birthed the miraculously attractive brainchild that is Colour Me Good: Ryan Gosling. Yes, ladies. A Ryan Gosling coloring book. Because if there was one thing the world was lacking, this was it.
Now you can indulge in that urge to run your hand over those beautiful abs, and hey, shade them in any color you want, while you’re at it! Do you like a nice sun-kissed, Raw Sienna-type skin tone on the "Drive" actor, or do you prefer him more of a classic Piggy Pink?
And once you’ve got him properly coordinated (Maize pleated pants? Pine Green sweater? Check!), it should be no difficulty at all to cut him out, glue a popsicle stick to his rear, and introduce him to your friends at dinner parties!
There’s 15 pages of amazingness in the booklet, Ryans in every style, and it’s being sold by British retailer Maiden. Do I sense a generating flux of bachelorette party gifts?
The back cover suggests you go right ahead and “use your felt tips to colour in Ryan Gosling driving, eating, kissing, standing, walking, and all manner of handsome activities!”
I can think of some handsome activities I’d like to visualize Ryan Gosling participating in, but they’d involve some extra drawing.
If this becomes a trend, just imagine the possibilities.
Coloring books of every hot celebrity imaginable would only be the beginning. I'm thinking Gerard Butler Sudoku. Robert Pattinson molding clay. Brad Pitt weave-your-own-potholders.
Ah, yes. Life just got a little sweeter for the lonely ones.
