Randy 'The Macho Man' Savage Reportedly Killed in Car Crash

Randy 'The Macho Man' Savage Reportedly Killed in Car Crash Awful news today for wrestling fans, or those who were around during the sport's heyday in the 1980's. Hell, bad news for fans of Slim Jims.

Randy "The Macho Man" Savage, 58, was reportedly killed at 10 a.m. this morning in a head-on collision after suffering a heart attack.

Florida Highway Patrol told TMZ "Savage was driving his 2009 Jeep Wrangler when he veered across a concrete median through oncoming traffic and 'collided head-on with a tree.'"

According to the website, which spoke with his brother Lanny Poffo, Savage's wife was in the car, and sustained minor injuries. Both were reportedly wearing seat belts at the time.

The Macho Man was known for his ridiculous muscles, crazy outfits and signature phrase "ooooh yeah," which approximately 50% of American children said while imitating pro wrestlers in the 1980's.

According to his Wikipedia entry, "Savage held twenty championships during his professional wrestling career and is a seven-time world champion: a two-time WWF Champion, four-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and one-time USWA Unified World Heavyweight Champion."

Most importantly, Savage was a champion to fans. He drove a diving double axe handle into our hearts with his outlandish charisma, and love for the beautiful temptresss Miss Elizabeth, and reminded us he was alive with a great series of commericals for Slim Jim ("Snap into a Slim Jim!").

Oooh yeaaahhhhh....we're gonna miss ya buddy.
