New Ending For 'Breaking Dawn: Part 2'

“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2,” the last installment of the series, will be throwing a few curves at the audience this fall.

The movie will feature an entirely new ending from the one that is featured in the beloved book. In fact, approximately the last third of the movie will be totally rewritten.

So, those who go in expecting a play-by-play from the novel will be extremely surprised. Just a head's up, folks.

But don’t worry, Twihards. The new twist was thought up by “Twilight” author Stephanie Meyers herself, along with pal and screenwriter, Melissa Rosenberg.

The ending is rumored to be pretty juicy, and it threw even the movie’s actors for a loop when they heard about it.

“When I read the script, I got to that part and I was like what!?” said Robert Pattinson, the movie’s sparkly star. “And then I had to go back a page. It does it a serious justice.”

His co-star and very publicly dumped ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, reassures fans that “It’s clearly made by someone who really likes [the saga], who really cares.”

Intriguing!

In the movie, Edward and Bella fight to save their fast-growing vampire baby from an allegation that puts her into serious hot water with the Volturi. Since both the movies and the books have a pretty rabid fan following (you know who you are), we’re expecting mixed results from this announcement. Can the new ending surpass the original or will fans just be disappointed not to see the curtain go down in the way they expected?

And will someone die? Will someone die?

Probably not. Either way it will be a fresh storyline to follow when it hits theaters, and will have loyal fans everywhere (happily, we hope) surprised and shocked by the fates of Edward and Bella.
