Midseason TV Preview: The CW Premiere Schedule and Trailers
by Andy NeuenschwanderIf you're a fan of The CW, you're probably on pins and needles waiting for the return of "The Vampire Diaries" from its midseason hiatus. Don't worry, you'll see "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Secret Circle" right at the start of 2012, when the two shows return on January 5th. "Nikita" and "Supernatural" will return the day after, "Gossip Girl" will return on the 16th, and "90210" will return on the 17th.
But there are also two midseason debuts set up at The CW: one of them marks the beginning of the final season of a CW veteran, while the other marks the series debut of a brand new show!
Check out the details for The CW's two midseason debuts below:
New Shows:
"Remodeled" - Tuesday, Jan. 17th at 9pm
Yes, it's another fashion reality show. But rather than simply have designers and/or models compete for a prize, "Remodeled" is more about changing the game. The show follows modeling industry vet Paul Fisher as he attempts to fix the cutthroat and sometimes damaging modeling profession, giving more power to small-time agents and allowing models to better control their careers and their health.
A modeling show with a conscience... how about that?
Returning Shows:
"One Tree Hill" - Wednesday, Jan. 11th at 8pm
CW vet "One Tree Hill" enters its ninth and, barring any miracles, final season in January. Expect more trials for these twentysomethings to face in their careers as singers, journalists, and NBA stars. It's "White People Problems: The Show." Get it while it's still on the air!
