Kristen Stewart 'Knew' She Could Safely Cheat On Robert Pattinson [UPDATE: NOT. R-Patt Moves Out]

Don't give Kristen Stewart an inch, folks. Or at least, if you do, make sure there's nothing with man parts an inch or less away.

It happens often in life that people do things that inflict hurt upon others for not much more reason than simply because they can. While the facts have only begun trickling outward, Hollywood Life claims Kristen Stewart's cheating heart leading her astray of hubby and "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson comes down fairly simply to the opportunity presenting itself.

As reported Wednesday, Us Weekly is purported to have photographic proof of Stewart getting too cozy for a spoke-for woman with her "Snow White and The Hunstman" director Rupert Sanders. Not long after the story broke yesterday, Stewart came clean with her own admission, stating, "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected."

Good on her for owning up, but someone has claimed she may not have been quite so remorseful in the moment. "Kristen knew she could get away with something like this . . . based on Rob being p***y-whipped," the confidential source said. The Us Weekly anonymous insider further explained that the 26-year-old Pattinson was fine with anchoring in Stewart's bay because he shies from superstardom's consequential notoriety and prefers performing in smaller-scale independent films.

"The only person he really trusts is Kristen," the source continued. "He was, and is, her cheerleader."

If that remark accurately portrays Stewart's mindset, then she was proven doubly wrong: neither the vigilant and intrusive paparazzi, nor her conscience let her "get away with it." She did so only in as much as Pattinson didn't walk up on them cuddling. Still, a modicum of credit awarded for realizing what she'd cast onto a tightrope.

"This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," her statement continued.

According to RadarOnline.com today, Stewart plans on writing directly to Libert Ross, Sanders' wife, and apologizing directly for the tryst after failing to mention Ross in her initial statement.

"Kristen didn't feel it was appropriate to issue a public apology to LIberty once the story of her affair with Rupert broke," a source close to Stewart explained. "Instead, she's going to do the decent thing and write Liberty a private letter expressing her deepest regret for her actions. She was thinking of including LIberty, Rupert and the kids in her public apology - but Kristen was so desperate to save her relationship with Rob, she decided to concentrate on that first.

"Kristen feels she made a terribly naive mistake and will do anything to make amends," the source continued. The fact that liberty and Rupert have two kids has now dawned on her and she feels awful for what she did.

Um, that she did.

UPDATE:

Pattinson has reportedly moved out of the pair's shared Los Angeles home after three years of dating, People reported Thursday.

"I'm not sure they'll be able to recover form this," a source told the magazine. Pattinson is reportedly "heartbroken and angry."

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga has taken to Twitter to take the media to task for acknowledging the scandal at all.
