'How I Met Your Mother'-- Do We Finally Know Who the Mother Is?

Have we, by sneaky logical deduction, finally figured out who CBS has cast as Mrs. Ted Mosby on their hit show “How I Met Your Mother?”
Cast for what is being described as an “arc,” we have the announcement that Abby Elliot, fresh off a four-season gig for Saturday Night Live, will be joining the HIMYM group.
The cute and fresh-faced blonde will play Janeane, a “crazy” girl who “catches the eye of one of the gang.”
By default, at this point, we’re either looking at a potential match for Ted, or Marshall has some serious explaining to do.
The other possibility is that Elliot can be playing a fling for Barney, but with all the Barney and Robin wedding hype they’ve been pushing and the wrapping up of the Quinn storyline, it seems like we’re settling in for a kinder, gentler version of Barney for the rest of the show.
Since the show is up in the air for a ninth season, it’s about time to introduce the calf-bearing, yellow umbrella-toting woman of Ted’s dreams, before it's too late. Right?
Or maybe that’s just wishful thinking (WHO IS SHE??).
Elliot’s character will come into play in the second half of the upcoming and possibly final season, making the timing darn near line up right.
Plus, she’s cute and blonde, a little Stella or Zoey-esque. And if you’re a fan of the show, you know how much Ted loves his crazy ladies.
Will Elliot’s character rank up on the Hot/Crazy Scale in a satisfying manner, or will we continue the search for the legendary (see what I did there?) Future Mrs. Mosby?
