Damian Lewis of 'Homeland' Will Play Hailee Steinfeld's Dad in 'Romeo & Juliet'

Damian Lewis of 'Homeland' Will Play Hailee Steinfeld's Dad in 'Romeo & Juliet' We've seen Damian Lewis play a morally and emotionally confused soldier in Showtime's new hit series "Homeland," and even get a nod for a Golden Globe. Now it looks like Lewis will be playing yet another morally and emotionally confused character, but this time from the pages of Shakespeare.

Lewis has been cast as Lord Capulet in the new adaptation of "Romeo and Juliet," which means he'll be playing Hailee Steinfeld's dad. Steinfeld, who made waves in the industry in her role in "True Grit," which won her an Oscar nomination at a very young age, has been cast as Juliet.

British newcomer Douglas Booth has been cast as Romeo, and the cast also includes Paul Giamatti as Friar Lawrence and Natascha McElhone as Lady Capulet. "Thor" actor Stellan Skarsgard will be playing the Prince.

So, who's ready for Damian Lewis to say, "Fetch me my longsword, ho?" I know I am.
