Charlie Sheen's Ex-Wife, Denise Richards, Adopts a Baby Girl

Denise Richards is expanding her family! The actress and ex-wife of Charlie Sheen just adopted a baby girl.

A rep for Richards confirmed the adoption to People, saying "Eloise Joni Richards is named after Denise's mom (Joni), and Denise and her daughters Sami and Lola chose the name Eloise. Denise and Eloise's big sisters couldn't be happier and feel incredibly blessed."

The "Wild Things" actress lost her mother, Joni, in 2007 after a battle with cancer.

Richards' two older daughters Sam, 7, and Lola, 6, are from her four-year marriage to Sheen. The two divorced in 2006 and, after a rocky few years, are on more peaceful terms.

After the baby news broke, Richards took to Twitter to thank fans for their well wishes. "Thank you all for your sweet messages. The girls and I are over the moon and so is my dad Grandpa Irv...xo," she Tweeted.

Props to Ms. Richards for adopting on her own and giving a child a loving home!
