Andy Dick Arrested for Andy Dick-ish Behavior

Known for over the top comedy and sometimes genius-level, razor-sharp wit, Andy Dick has made audiences laugh uncomfortably for years on shows like "NewsRadio" and "Community." It's the other side of Dick, the side that landed him on a "Celebrity Rehab" spinoff that could (and maybe should) ultimately end up putting him behind bars for a while.

Dick, (who most recently played the voice of "Boingo the Bunny" in "Hoodwinked Too: Hood vs. Evil") was arrested Monday night at a Marie Callender's in Temeculah, California, for causing a disturbance and being blatantly intoxicated after employees called the cops.

A Temecula Police Department spokesman told EW that "Mr. Dick was intoxicated. He was unable to care for his own safety and we arrested him for public intoxication. He was transported to our local facility here."

Dick spent a night in the drunk tank, and apparently no charges will be filed.

It's just the latest in an ongoing struggle for sobriety (and apparently common human decency) that Dick has been (badly) fighting.

Despite appearing on "Celebrity Rehab Presents: Sober House" where he apologized for the damage he'd done to other people while high, DIck appears to be well off the wagon again. With continuing series of increasingly serious legal problems, Dick just seems hell-bent on continuing the sh%^-show, and authorities seem to be thoroughly willing to let him off lightly.

January 11, 2001 - Dick gets booted from the AVN Awards for groping and menacing Tera Patrick and drag queen Chi Chi LaRue. Seriously, how you get booted from a porn conference is beyond me.

April 3, 2010 - Dick breaks into a family's home in L.A., allegedly screaming "I am not with the fire department." Though he's clearly intoxicated and scares the crap out of the homeowners, who tell dispatchers that he's "completely loony." no charges are pressed and police drive him home.

January 23, 2010 - Dick is arrested and charged with felony sexual abuse charges after allegedly grabbing a bouncer's crotch, and kissing and groping a male patron at a West Virginia comedy club (called...wait for it....Funny Bone). The case goes to grand jury trial.

July 16, 2008 - Dick is arrested and charged with drug possession and sexual battery in Murietta, California after trying to pull the top off a 17 year old girl. Cops find weed and pills on him at the time. Dick cops a plea, pays fines and gets 3 years probation.

February 2, 2007 - Dick is removed from the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" show after groping Ivanka Trump during the show.

May 15, 1999 - Dick drives his car into a pole in Hollywood, and gets charged with possession, a DUI and hit and run. His charges are reduced to one felony cocaine possession and marijuana possession. After undergoing rehab, the felony charges are dropped.
