Actress Jaime Pressly From My Name is Earl Arrested For DUI

Jaime Pressly must have been celebrating the New Year a little too much this week. Maybe she didn’t know the party ended on Saturday!

Jaime, who starred in My Name is Earl, was arrested for suspicion of being intoxicated while driving in California.

Jaime is not new to the party scene. Remember when she was supposedly caught urinating in public, on VIDEO! She denied it and said it was a water bottle being emptied near the ground. And it was coincidental she was drunk with her girlfriends while having a bachelorette party. You buying that excuse?

She doesn’t have much excuse this time. Or at least she hasn’t had the time to come out with one. Police picked her up in the late hours Wednesday night. From popeater:

Police sources tell TMZ that the 33-year-old star was driving in Santa Monica when police pulled her over at around 11 PM for an alleged traffic violation.

Following a field sobriety test, she was arrested and booked.

Pressly was transported to the Santa Monica jail, but it's unclear if she has been released.

The two-time Emmy nominee, who has a 2-year-old son with husband Simran Singh, has been busy since 'Earl' was canceled in 2009. She appeared in the 'Rules of Engagement' and starred in the TV movie 'Smoke Screen.'

It’s too bad that she was out drinking and driving. She could certainly afford a cab to get herself home safely to her child! Do you think she will come out with an excuse or sign up for rehab?
