Mark Ruffalo Tweets His Oscar's Acceptance Speech...Before the Oscars

Oscar Night came and went, and Mark Ruffalo still doesn't have an Academy Award. But that didn't stop the actor from giving an acceptance speech!

Before the Oscars, Ruffalo took to Twitter to say a few words: "So just in case I don't win tonight and even if I did the Academy forbids thanking people in your speech I would like 2 selfishly use tweets," said Ruffalo on his Twitter feed.

His next sixteen tweets were all thank-yous to those nearest and dearest to him, and those who worked on the movie for which he was nominated, "The Kids Are All Right".

In other Ruffalo news, the actor recently talked about his work in the upcoming film "The Avengers," in which he will be playing Dr. Bruce Banner a.k.a. The Hulk.

Apparently Ruffalo will be doing the motion capture for The Hulk himself (the first actor to play the green meanie to do so), and he says Hulk looks "just like me." Thankfully, Ruffalo didn't turn green and grow in size when Christian Bale beat him to the Oscar last night.

If you want to read Ruffalo's full "speech", you can read it on his Twitter feed. Since it's a little difficult to read on Twitter in reverse, Collider has offered this transcript of the rest of Ruffalo's tweet-speech:

"Thank You Sunrise. My wife and my partner in crime and fun and hard times and joy and sadness in heartbreak and healing and dinners and kids.
