Well, this week's Entertainment Weekly will be able to help with that. The magazine unveils some exclusive shots of bad boy Gale and baker's son Peeta in the latest issue.
"The Hunger Games," slated to open in March, is based on the widely popular young adult novels of the same name by author Suzanne Collins.
The books takes place in a dystopian world where children are chosen in a lottery to fight to the death on reality television. It's like if you took all the Bravo housewives, deprived them of alcohol and supplied them with weapons. Needless to say, it's a bad scene.
In the books, heroine Katniss is aided by her childhood friend Gale and fellow contestant Peeta. In the movie Gale will be played by Liam Hemsworth, last seen in The Last Song with Miley Cyrus and brother to Thor actor Chris Hemsworth. Peeta will be played by "The Kids Are All Right" actor Josh Hutcherson, who talked to Entertainment Weekly about fan concerns about his casting.
“Jennifer’s not two feet taller than me! If anything, maybe she’s a half inch taller," he told the magazine in response to fans who thought he was too short to play romantic lead alongside Lawrence.
For Hutcherson the part also meant beefing up in order to play the part of one who spent his boyhood lifting heavy sacks of flour. In fact in just three weeks he put on 15 pounds of muscle.
What do you think of "The Hunger Games" guys? Do these pictures convince you they're right for the parts?
