UPDATE: Selena Gomez Rushed to the Hospital AGAIN
by Richard SharpUPDATE: More reports on Selena Gomez from TMZ claim that the reason behind her hospitalization is not pregnancy-related, but due to high blood pressure. Still no word on the cause of her many worrying symptoms, and as of yet there are no reports on the singer being released from the hospital.
UPDATE: Two days after she was rushed to the hospital complaining of headaches and nausea, forcing her to cancel a Friday night performance in Santa Monica, Gomez is once again back at the hospital, according to TMZ, after reps claimed she was okay and had returned home to rest.
What's wrong with Selena? Bieber baby bump? We'll let you know as we hear more.
Original Story:
Selena Gomez has reportedly cancelled a performance tonight in Santa Monica, after being rushed to the hospital last night complaining of nausea and severe headaches. Gomez, who is currently dating Justin Bieber, still remains in the hospital after being there overnight, according to TMZ.
"Last night after Selena's appearance on 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,' she wasn't feeling well and was taken to the hospital and she is currently undergoing routine tests," said Gomez's PR flack.
We're not sure what kind of "routine tests" require an overnight stay and all day hospitalization, but who knows.
The Biebs seemed muy concerned, though. When he wasn't busy trying to hype up the phrase #HAPPYBYDAYDANKANTER for his guitarist and talking about his various charites, he managed to squeeze in the ever-so-romantic-and-thoughtful prose #getwellselena.
C'mon Biebs, little buddy, don't get all busted up over it or anything. Wouldn't want your pretty little locks to get mussed with tears.
Weirdly, another pop star had a massive health scare today.
After performing at Central Park for "Good Morning America," Jennifer Hudson was taken to the hospital, though it sounds like it was a case of some bad vittles. Hudson's rep said she was "was treated for food poisoning and released" this afternoon.
Best wishes for a quick recovery for both Gomez and Hudson.
