Harry Potter Reviews Are in: 'Deathly Hallows 2' FTW!

Between early reviews and the comments from the midnight movie crowds, it’s clear, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” is a winner. Pro-Potter sentimentality aside, the film is garnering some of the best critical success of any movie this year, and by far the best of any other Harry Potter movie. The film is rating a staggering 97% amongst critics over at Rotten Tomatoes, and audience praise thus far has been off the charts.

We asked Yidio readers on our Facebook page who caught the film at midnight screenings last night what they thought, and amongst the hundreds of comments posted, there was barely a negative review in the bunch.

Check out how Yidio readers on Facebook are reacting to the last film in the Harry Potter saga:

"Zach Busch: It was amazing! Everything was more of a surprise since I hadn't read the books and I found it to be really enjoyable that way. But all the effects were amazing and there was never a dull moment; I felt like I was only in the theater for 30 mins compared to 2hr and 15 mins. All in all, great film and great portrayal of the the end to the series!

Grace Alvarez: I loved this final movie, but it breaks my heart to know that there will be no more great movies like this to anxiously wait for. I would like to thank the whole cast and crew for the wonderful moments that you helped bring to my life. It really was magical and entertaining to grow up with awesome movies like this.

Emma Vogel: Just amazing, I cannot even explain in words how much I loved it. It is a great sadness that they are over though but I am grateful that I was one of millions that got to grow up with these amazing books and movies.

Amanda Harter: I know about the childhood thing... I turn thirty this year and this series was apart of my twenties... Man i can not believe it is gone.... Thanks to all the cast for this wonderful life experience!!!

Bretteny Berrier: Was amazing sad and very good overall ending to wonderful world of harry potter. My only question why hadn't they just used director yates for all the films he was in my opinion by far the best

Christi Franklin My friends n I live n Alabama n we saw it at midnight. While waiting outside the theather we were under a severe thunderstorm warning. So raining like crazy n lightning all around us but we still stood n line w our umbrellas

Courtney Minton: There are no words to describe the absolute perfection that is Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part Two. I cried, I cried, I laughed, I cried, I sobbed hysterically. My childhood is officially over. Harry Potter will always be a part of me. Thank you, Harry, Hermione, Ron and, of course, J.K. Rowling."
