Dior Disaster: Video Surfaces of John Galliano Declaring His Love for Hitler; The World Cringes

Funny how quickly you can go from the height of fashion to completely out of fashion.

Christian Dior Creative Director and fashion icon John Galliano arrived at a Paris police station today to face accusations that he made anti-Semitic remarks in a French bistro last week, a crime that is punishable by up to 6 months of prison time in France.

Last week a couple in Paris went to authorities to report hateful comments made by famed Christian Dior designer John Galliano. The victims were dining at a popular French bistro, sitting close by the fashion icon while he sipped and smoked solo.

Although the British designer is an alleged Jew hater, it is unclear what set the eccentric fellow off.

Galliano vehemently denied the initial reports and even filed a defamation counter suit against the couple.

Not so fast John G, not so fast. Today British tabloid The Sun released a video of the tirade.

After a few words were exchanged Galliano went into a rant, saying that he "loves Hitler." He went on to tell the group, "People like you would be dead today. Your mothers, your forefathers would be (expletive) gassed and dead.. "

The outburst only escalated and the racial slurs were beyond harsh.

Even after the release of the footage, a video Galliano was unaware was being taken, his lawyer Stephane Zerbib said "there's no comment on that... What matters isn't what's on the internet, what matters are the testimonies and the hearings."

Really? 'Cause we are pretty sure that video matters not only to the police and the court, but also to Dior and the rest of the world in general.

Since the accusations were made, Dior has suspended the designer pending further investigation. After today we can pretty much bet - and hope - the designer will be done for good.

Did we mention that the face of Dior's new perfume, Academy Award winner Natalie Portman, is Jewish?

Will the actress stay on for the duration of the campaign or cut ties with Dior in the wake of the JG scandal? Let us know what you think.
